ななつのこ
表紙のイラストに惹かれて「ななつのこ」購入。
こういう癒し系な雰囲気のイラストに凄く惹かれたあたり、やっぱ疲れてるんだろうな（笑）。
で、昨日から読んでたんですが、最初の印象はあまり良くありませんでした。
雰囲気的には、スケールの大きくない「ご近所ミステリー」な感じの作品。
赤川次郎とか宮部みゆきあたりが得意そうなジャンルでしょうか(両者とも色んなタイプの小説を書いてらっしゃいますけど)。
個人的に、もともとミステリーはあまり読まない上に、
そういうタイプの軽い感じのミステリーはさらにあまり好みじゃないので「うーん......」って感じだったんですね。
ただ、一人称の割に斜め上から見下ろしたような妙に冷静な文体とか、 主人公の身に降りかかる事件と作中作の中で起きる事件との絡みの緻密さとか、惹かれる部分も色々あったので、 途中で投げずに読み続けたわけです。
で、読了しての感想。
私的名作入り決定。
これ、面白いです。話のスケールは小さいのに、深い。かなり深い。
超お勧め。
というわけで、今日の仕事帰りに続編の「魔法飛行」を買って帰りましたとさ。

普通に面白かったです。
「ななつのこ」程のインパクトはなかったものの、
まあそれは続編ゆえに仕方がない部分もあるかな、と。
